Director of Admissions
Job Overview
The Director of Admissions shall earnestly seek to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ, particularly as it relates to the management of the admissions team and meeting enrollment goals. He will be primarily responsible for attracting new students to the College, Seminary, and Evening programs and facilitating their admission and matriculation.
Job Description
The Director of Admissions is responsible for delivering on short-term and long-term enrollment commitments and, as a leader in the school's administration, actively participating in and shaping the overall vision and strategic aims.
Key Responsibilities
- Network and partner with like-minded schools, churches, and other ministries, publicly representing Bethlehem College and Seminary and recruiting students;
- Shape an annual Enrollment Management Plan, and be responsible for its execution;
- Work closely with the Cabinet in developing recruitment and promotional strategies;
- Create on-going, work-in-process visibility to leadership and other key constituents on the progress toward quantitative targets, and the problems and opportunities involved in the task at hand;
- Supervise the work of the small number of employees assigned to assist in the task of enrollment management;
- Serve the Academic Dean and faculty in efforts to retain matriculated students;
- Support the Director of Evening Programs in meeting the enrollment objectives for the Evening Programs;
- Report to the Cabinet weekly concerning progress toward enrollment goals;
- Complete any unstated tasks or projects that may be assign
Key Performance Outcomes
- Achieve enrollment goals for each degree program; with primary attention towards moving the college, seminary, and evening program student population to scale.
- Provide timely reports and updates, forecasts, and gap analysis regarding the admissions funnel.
Requirements of the Position
- Have a strong grasp and hearty endorsement of the biblical and theological orientation of Bethlehem College and Seminary as expressed in the Bethlehem College and Seminary Affirmation of Faith;
- Joyfully managing, administrating, mentoring, serving, and being a regular participant in the body life of Bethlehem College and Seminary in accord with the Community Declaration.
- Prayerfully pursue "planting and watering," in the hope that God will provide enrollment growth sufficient to sustain, year-after-year, 250 full-time, tuition-paying students in the undergraduate and M.Div. programs.
