Director of Children’s and Youth Ministries

The ideal candidate is someone who brings positive energy and creative ideas to oversee all aspects of discipleship of children and youth. Higgins Methodist is seeking someone who has a strong and authentic faith with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children and youth. Higgins Methodist is seeking someone whose vision of children's and youth ministry meets the needs of the community.

Higgins Methodist is welcoming, missional, and hospitable. The staff is encouraging and collaborative. Higgins Methodist is looking for someone who is a team player both as a staff member and as someone who will manage volunteers. This is a full-time position which includes onsite Sundays Mornings, Evening Youth Group, Wednesday Evenings, Living Inside Out (LIO- an afterschool program 2 days a week), and other meetings.

Purpose

As the Children's and Youth Ministry Leader, one play a pivotal role in fostering the growth of children/youth in the congregation and community as Christian disciples. Collaborating with church, parents, and community leaders, you will address the needs of children/youth, ensuring that all God's children/youth grow in strength, wisdom, and faith.
