Job Description:

Title: Children's Ministry Director Ministry Area: Children's Ministries Accountability: Associate Pastor Time Requirement: Part-Time (20 hours a week). Conversations Welcome. Ministry Description: The Director of Children's Ministry will be responsible for overseeing, the vision, schedule, curriculum, communication, parental relations, and policy and procedures for Bridgewood Church Children's Ministries. All of these oversights must be in submission to Bridgewood Church's Vision and Mission and Four Core Values. The position is directly accountable to the Associate Pastor.

Position Qualifications:

Qualifications: • Exhibits a personal life-style and confession that demonstrates that Jesus is Lord of his/her life. • Is an active member of Bridgewood Church or at time of hire is willing to pursue membership. • Able to articulate a testimony of personal faith. • Demonstrates the ability and willingness to work effectively within the organizational structure of Bridgewood Church. • Demonstrates the ability to work well with others, relate to a wide variety of personalities, and is a team player. • Possesses a pastoral heart for people, willing to listen, and show compassion and understanding. • Demonstrates the ability to lead and manage people. • Demonstrates gifts of encouragement, helps, and administration. • Demonstrates a commitment to excellence and a willingness to be held accountable for his/her work. • Has experience in children's ministry. • Has a college degree preferably with an emphasis on early child development. • Demonstrates the ability to maintain confidentiality.
