The Kids Ministry position will help First Baptist fulfill our mission of making disciples of Jesus by partnering with parents to see kids get connected to our church, take next steps in their spiritual development, and grow in their knowledge of God's Word. Kids Ministry is newborn through 5th Grade.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

Give leadership to all Sunday morning Kids ministries.Recruit, develop, and oversee all Kids Connection Group leadersOversee Kids Worship and ensure it's an engaging and enriching experience for all agesGive Leadership to all Kids Wednesday Night Discipleship MinistryPlan and coordinate our annual events such as Vacation Bible School and Kids CampGive leadership to a Kids Baptism Class, Kids New Members class, and Child/Parent DedicationWork with relevant staff in Outreach events for Kids Ministry such as Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, Pool Parties, etc. Oversee the calendaring and budgeting process for Kids MinistrySupervise and invest in Kids Ministry employees such as coordinators, interns, etc.Supervise all paid and volunteer childcare workersEnsure all volunteers are properly background checkedProvide administrative oversight to First Steps Christian Preschool and the FSCP DirectorAttend one of our three worship services weeklyWork as part of a ministry team under the supervision of the Lead PastorAll other duties as assigned
