Job Overview

We are seeking a Director of Mission Advancement to help scale a proven ministry system that has planted nearly 6,000 underground churches in 7 years across some of the least-reached regions of the world. This role will serve as the public face of our ministry—sharing powerful stories, inspiring donors, and opening doors for mission expansion.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Public Representation & Relations

  • Represent the ministry at churches, events, and conferences.

  • Share the vision and impact to inspire engagement and giving.

  • Maintain a professional, Christ-centered presence in all communications.

  1. Donor Development & Care

  • Identify and cultivate new donors (individuals, churches, businesses, foundations).

  • Strengthen relationships with current supporters through updates and appreciation.

  • Organize donor events, vision dinners, and speaking engagements.

  1. Field Reporting & Story Gathering

  • Gather timely reports, testimonies, photos, and videos from the field.

  • Maintain accurate data and progress updates.

  • Ensure reports are donor-ready and clearly communicate impact.

  1. Presentation Development & Delivery

  • Create and adapt presentations for live speaking, print, newsletters, and social media.

  • Use stories and data to demonstrate ministry effectiveness and stewardship.

  1. Strategic Mission Expansion

  • Research new mission territories and unreached people groups.

  • Network with mission leaders to explore partnerships.

  • Present new initiatives to leadership for approval.

Qualifications

  • Passionate follower of Jesus Christ, demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit, with a heart for global missions.

  • Strong communicator—comfortable in public speaking and relationship-building.

  • Organized, self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects.

  • Experience in fundraising and ability to raise own support required.

  • Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.

  • Willingness to travel for speaking engagements and occasional field visits.

Role TypeSupport-Raised / Volunteer Position: The Director may raise financial support through the ministry to fund their salary and ministry expenses. Salary will be determined in consultation with leadership based on the candidate's needs and fundraising goals. Donations for this role will be processed through the ministry and designated according to church policy.
