Tri Area Association has 32 English Speaking and 8 Spanish Speaking Churches. These churches span 5 counties. Clovis is the home of Cannon Air Force Base, a vital installation of America's National Defense. There are approximately 70 dairies in the area. One of the world's largest cheese plants, Southwest Cheese is located between Clovis & Portales. It employees ~ 450 employees. Portales is home to Eastern New Mexico University with ~ 4,00 students. Clovis Community College provides a wide range of certifications and associate degrees. The number 1 ranked high school in the state is located in Texico, N.M. 8 miles east of Clovis.
