Director of Music Ministries – Clayton Methodist Church  

Clayton Methodist Church, a congregation of the Global Methodist Church located in Clayton NC, is seeking a part-time Director of Music Ministries. The church is a growing, multi-generational congregation worshiping in a blended service of praise and traditional worship (170 average attendance).

Candidate must profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, living a lifestyle within the Christian community to promote Christ to both believers and non-believers. They should have a deep desire to glorify God through worship and lead others into a meaningful worship experience.

· Experienced musician and vocalist, keyboardist preferred, but not required

· Ability to recruit and grow the worship team

· Assist the pastor in planning, coordinating and leading worship services

· Lead volunteer musicians with varied levels of skills in blended, contemporary and traditional worship

· This position is a salaried part-time position requiring approximately 10 – 12 hours weekly

· The church expects responsibilities, time, and compensation to increase when the current one Sunday service expands to two worship services in the future
