Job Description

Director of Preschool and Early Childhood Program – Salem Lutheran Ministries   Purpose: The purpose of this position is to serve the congregation by providing administrative leadership and supervision to Salem Lutheran Preschool and Early Childhood Program, with particular attention given to public relations and day-to-day operations of the school.

Responsibilities: 

1. Serve as Director of Salem’s Preschool and Early Childhood Program, providing daily administration, staff leadership, legal supervision (safety and Licensing), financial management, and curriculum development. 2. Communicate effectively with parents and the greater community to promote Salem Preschool and Early childhood Program, as well as to support the congregational mission in an enthusiastic manner. 3. Serve the congregation as an example of Christian conduct; to endeavor earnestly to live in Christian unity with congregation members and coworkers; and do everything possible to bridge the ministries of our church and school.

Requirements: Becomes a member and active participant of Salem Lutheran Ministries. Prefer a Bachelors Degree in early childhood field and two years experience in education.
