Director of Student Ministries

Job Description:

Gashland Evangelical Presbyterian Church (GEPC) is seeking a full-time Director of

Student Ministries who will minister to 6th-12th grade students in order that they may know the

gospel, be transformed by the gospel, and inspired to share the gospel with others.

Position Qualifications:

• Loves Jesus deeply and has committed their life to following Him as Lord and Savior

• College degree preferred

• Reformed in theology

• Equipped to disciple students in God's Word

• Excellent Interpersonal relationship skills (gifted in talking with students, parents, volunteers,

and congregation members)

• Passionate about Youth Ministry

• Strong leadership skills, able to recruit volunteers, and lead teams.

• Strong biblical teaching skills

• Team player, loyal, initiator, teachable, humble,

• Competent in conflict management

• Must pass a background check

• Proficiency in technology

• Excellent organizational skills

• Training or experience in student ministries desired

• Compassion and awareness of common student challenges
