Description of Organization
Grace Pres is a large church in Peoria, IL that has a long history of Gospel-centered teaching, an emphasis on discipleship, and a passion to reach our neighbors for Christ.
The student ministry emphasizes a family equipping model, supporting, resourcing, and communicating with parents who are the primary disciplemakers of their kids. We want to grow and enhance students relationships with our leaders, with each other, with their parents, and most importantly, with God. Because of the size and geographically diverse population at our church, we emphasize the importance of shared experiences and consistent smaller group connections so students can open up, make friends, and build community. Our hour-long connect groups as part of our weekly youth group are unique to our church and we really work hard to train our leaders well to lead each of these groups.
