The Vision of Grace Hill is to Nourish and Grow the Family of Christ

Grace Hill Church is seeking a part-time Director of Students and Outreach (12 – 18 hours per week) to help pursue the church vision to Nourish and Grow the Family of Christ. Salary will be between $20,000 and $30,000 annually based on experience, additional gifts (music, tech., etc.) and hour-per-week commitment.

Grace Hill is a small church (approximately 60-80 weekly attendance) located in Hillsborough, NC. Grace Hill is a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. For the 2025-2026 school year, there will be approximately 8 middle/high school students. While this number is currently small, there are several older elementary students who will soon be a part of the student ministry over the next few years. Also, this will allow the new Director opportunities to focus on outreach to the students in the Hillsborough area.

Job Description

Nourish the Family of Christ: Develop the faith and spiritual maturity of our youth, ranging from 6th to 12th grade. You will seek to serve the students by deepening their Biblical knowledge and application of the Gospel to their lives.

1. Lead weekly Sunday School for middle and high school students.
2. Connect with the youth at least once during the week (weekly meeting times are flexible)
3. Work alongside of parents to help the youth grow in the faith.
4. Oraganize quarterly events (either with the purpose of discipleship or outreach).
5. Help with various other responsibilities of the church depending upon giftedness.

Grow the Family of Christ: Serve as a missionary to the youth of the Hillsborough area and their families. You will seek opportunities to engage with students in the local schools and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

1. Maintain a presence in the local schools through FCA, Younglife, athletics, arts, or other volunteer oppotunities.
2. Organize events to help share the Gospel with local students.
3. Help guide our youth to be effective in their witness.
