Job Overview

The "Director of Students & Christian Education" will report to the Discipleship Pastor, leading elder initiatives to strengthen the church's discipleship culture through student ministry (HS/MS), adult education, spiritual formation, and leadership training cohorts.

We are an evangelical, nondenominational church that is congregationally ruled, deacon served, and elder led. We provide care and oversight to 500+ members, and on Sunday we regularly have 1,000 people in attendance. We have two identical Sunday morning services where we read, sing, preach, and pray the Word together. Job Description

Student Ministry Responsibilities:

• Provide expositional Bible teaching in large and small group settings
• Oversee annual ministry rhythms and operations for 80-90 MS/HS students
• Facilitate leadership development through student ministries by equipping adult volunteers (~12) and student leaders (~10)

Christian Education Responsibilities:

• Primary teacher alongside the Discipleship Pastor for adult education seminars, cohorts, and study groups
• Develop summer interns (~6) and pastoral residents (~2-3) alongside the Discipleship Pastor, emphasizing spiritual formation and ecclesiology

General Responsibilities:

• Assist in pastoral care and counseling for members
• Assist with pastoral duties on Sunday mornings (assimilation, services, etc.)
