Job Overview

This role exists to equip women to know Christ deeply, love Him fully, and make Him known in their homes, workplaces, and city. Reporting directly to the Spiritual Formation Pastor, the Director will help build and lead a comprehensive, vibrant women's ministry that aligns with the overall mission, vision, and values of the Crossroads Church.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Vision & Strategy
  • Align all programs, events, and initiatives with the church's mission to make disciples who make disciples.

• Discipleship & Spiritual Formation
  • Oversee Bible studies, small groups, mentoring programs, and classes designed for women at every spiritual maturity level (new believers to mature leaders).
  • Create intentional pathways for women to grow in prayer, Scripture engagement, and gospel-centered community.
  • Recruit, train, and shepherd a large volunteer leadership team (coordinators, small-group leaders, mentors, event team, etc.).

• Large-Scale Events & Gatherings
  • Help plan and execute high-impact women's events (weekly/monthly gatherings, conferences, retreats, simulcasts, seasonal outreaches, etc.).
  • Oversee logistics, speaker selection, worship, creative elements, and follow-up assimilation.

• Counseling Referral
  • Provide care and biblical encouragement to women in crisis or transition.
  • Identify needs and refer to professional counseling as appropriate.

• Outreach & Mission
  • Mobilize women to serve inside and outside the church walls. Help establish a recovery ministry for women.

• Volunteer Team Leadership & Development
  • Build a healthy, unified volunteer culture rooted in prayer, accountability, and fun.

• Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Children's, Student, Groups, Marriage, and Care ministries to create seamless ministry experiences.
  • Work with Creative, Production, and Communications teams to maintain excellence in branding, promotion.

Qualifications:

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vibrant, growing personal walk with Him.
• Full agreement with the church's statement of faith, core values, and purpose.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and multiply volunteer teams.
• Strong biblical knowledge and ability to teach Scripture in large and small settings.
• Exceptional communication skills (writing, social media, one-on-one, Inter-personal communication skills).
• Demonstrated experience planning and executing events.
• High emotional-intelligence, self-awareness and relational warmth.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to innovate while honoring church culture and leadership.
