The Director of Worship Ministries is responsible for leading the people of CCC in God- glorifying, Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered worship during our Sunday gatherings. This

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: • Model a heart and lifestyle of worship in word and actions • Lead the congregation, or equip and empower others to lead the congregation, in worship during Sunday gatherings • Plan and execute worship nights and other events outside of Sunday gatherings in collaboration with the lead pastor • Identify, train, and empower worship team members • Collaborate with the lead pastor for worship planning and song selection • Schedule musicians and audio/visual volunteers on a weekly basis • Collaborate with the lead pastor to oversee the development and implementation of the worship ministries budget • Collaborate with the A/V Team to ensure that slides and sound function with "undistracting excellence"

Expectations This is a 15-hour per week role. The exact breakdown of hours will vary from week to week. You will be expected to: • Demonstrate clear evidence of faith in Jesus and love for his people • Become a covenant member of CCC and be in agreement with the CCC Statement of Faith (https://www.christcommunityfredonia.com/what-we-believe) • Maintain a humble, teachable attitude and eagerness to grow • Able to lead with a worship team on a regular basis, but also lead solo when needed • Be familiar with, or be willing to learn, technology such as Planning Center, Pro Presenter, in-ear monitors, multi-tracks, etc. • Be present at Sunday gatherings (4 Sundays off/year) • Lead regular rehearsals with the worship team • Connect weekly and meet monthly with the lead pastor for coaching, planning, and development • Maintain appropriate confidentiality

• Interact with CCC members, attenders, and the general public in a winsome, emotionally- intelligent manner

Compensation starts at $20/hour, or $300/week
