Director of Youth Ministries: Ebenezer Presbyterian Church (ARP)

Job Description:

Ebenezer Presbyterian Church (ARP) in Rock Hill, SC, is prayerfully seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministries to lead our middle school, high school, and college-aged student ministry. We are looking for a man with a pastor's heart who will disciple students, equip leaders, and foster a culture of Christ-centered worship, discipleship and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach/disciple youth through weekly gatherings, Bible studies, and fellowship opportunities
• Shepherd students through personal discipleship, relationship-building, and counseling
• Coordinate/equip volunteers, student leaders, and interns for youth ministry
• Plan/oversee youth retreats, mission trips, and service projects that nurture faith and outreach
• Partner with the Pastors, Session, Christian Education Committee, and families in the spiritual care and development of youth
• Participate in the life and ministry of the wider church, fostering healthy youth engagement and intergenerational relations

Position Qualifications:

• Passion for working with and teaching youth
• Ability to teach Scripture with pastoral care and theological clarity, according to the Westminster Standards
• Strong relational and leadership gifts with a heart for service
• Ability to communicate effectively (large group, small group, one-on-one, written)
• Since the Director of Youth Ministries' position involves Scriptural teaching of young men and women, only male applicants will be considered (1 Tim 2:12)
• College degree with some biblical training required; seminary or graduate theological training preferred
• Relevant youth ministry experience required
