The Director of Youth Ministries for Kingman First SBC (the "Church") shall be a person who is born again of the Spirit, teaches and preaches to youth (middle and high school) as affirmed by the calling of God. This position models the qualifications of "Elder/Overseer" as described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9 and is restricted to male candidates. Although the Director does not have to be an "ordained Pastor," the position can lead to ordination as described in the scriptures above, affirmed by The Baptist Faith & Message 2000 (Article VI: The Church), and confirmed by the local Church body.
