Job Overview

This role would be responsible for the development of discipling structures, ministries, and execution, The pastor would be the primary teacher in these learning environments as well as helping preach 4-8 times on Sunday mornings. Along with a more institutional structure for teaching, they will also help continue to build a more organic approach of discipling one another in the lives of our members.

Job Description

1. Discipleship (target: 75% of time allocation)
   1. Assist in developing a discipleship plan with the elders and then oversee the implementation of that plan
   2. Foster a discipling culture through personal discipleship and connecting members together
   3. Manage and teach in learning environments outside of Sunday gatherings
   4. Peach on Sunday morning gatherings (4-8 times per year)
   5. Assist the Lead Pastor in leadership development pipelines (PTC, internship, and residency programs)
2. Pastoral Responsibilities (target: 25% of time allocation)
   1. Assisting with the general pastoral ministry as an elder who works on the church staff (teaching, counseling, weddings, funerals, etc.)
