Cornerstone Montessori Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where young children can develop essential skills and knowledge.

Duties: – Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each child – Provide a safe learning environment for all students – Utilize effective classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere – Incorporate hands-on activities to engage students in learning – Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development – Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with educational standards – Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Qualifications: – Bachelor's degree in Education or related field – Proven experience working with young children in a teaching capacity – Knowledge of Montessori or other progressive teaching methods is a plus – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to mentor and guide students effectively – Experience in private school settings is preferred – Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accurate communication with parents and colleagues
