PURPOSE
The Executive Director is responsible for the oversight and management of the
church's financial management, human resources, facilities, communications,
information technology (IT), and operational functions. The Executive Director will
work closely with the Lead Pastor, staff, and Board of Elders to ensure staff
alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Chantilly Bible Church. As a
member of Chantilly Bible Church's staff team, the Executive Director will uphold the
Staff Values in fulfilling their role and responsibilities.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be a committed Christian with a strong faith and alignment with the church's
mission. (1 Timothy 3:8-13)
• Must be a member of Chantilly Bible Church, or willing to become a member.
• Has a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, nonprofit
management, or related field. (Note – master's degree preferred).
• Has 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, finance, or church
administration.
• Possesses strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, accounting,
and compliance.
• Has demonstrated excellent leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving
skills.
• Possesses strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage staff,
volunteers, and church members.
• Experience in nonprofit or church management preferred.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The Executive Director is accountable to the Lead Pastor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management:
• Oversee the church's financial heath, including budgeting, forecasting, and
financial reporting.• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and stewardship
principles.
• Supervise Finance Director in their role managing church accounting, donations,
accounts payable/receivable, payroll and benefits administration, and financial
audits.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support the church's
mission.
Human Resources:
• Lead HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, benefits management, and
employee relations.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Foster a healthy staff culture aligned with the church's values and mission.
• Facilitate the training and development of staff to meet their full potential and the
church's needs.
• Direct annual performance review process.
Facilities & Operations:
• Oversee the utilization, maintenance, updates, and expansion of facilities.
• Oversee the safety and security of church facilities.
• Ensure operational efficiency in church programs and ministries.
Information Technology:
• Oversee the IT operations of the church, including the coordination of the efforts
of IT volunteers and IT support contractors.
Communications & Administration:
• Oversee internal and external communications, including digital, print, and social
media.
• Recruit, manage and train volunteers to provide support to the church's
administrative functions.
• Support church leadership with administrative and operational needs.Supervision:
• Provide supervisory oversight for staff members serving in roles of
Administration, Financial Management, Human Resources, Facilities,
Communications, and Information Technology.
