We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in achieving its mission and ensuring financial sustainability through effective fundraising strategies, growth, and development.

Core Job Responsibilities:
- Set annual goals and strategies.
- Ensure staff is empowered, appreciated, and connected.
- Set an annual budget with the Board.
- Ensure goals of intakes, sessions, and client outcomes are met.
- Maintain existing and develop new donor relationships.
- Maintain legal and ethical compliance.
- Lead regular staff meetings and participate in planned Board of Directors meetings.
- Maintain relationships with referral sources to ensure ongoing successful partnerships.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Oversee all services and ministries to ensure that they are in alignment with Valeo's mission and goals.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to determine organizational priorities, financial goals, and ensure effective governance.
- Work together with the Valeo leadership team to prioritize and execute the ongoing objectives of the ministry.
Funding Development
- Create, implement, and manage a robust fundraising strategy that addresses short and long term financial goals.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit funding from diverse sources, including foundations, corporations, individual donors, and grants.
- Lead efforts in grant writing, proposal development, and reporting to funders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
Financial Management
- Maintain fiscal accountability by forecasting and reviewing revenue and expense budgets ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
- Provide financial reporting to the Board of Directors, detailing financial position, fundraising initiatives, and status.
Missions Community Engagement
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for Valeo, representing the organization at events, meetings, and conferences.
- Enhance Valeo's visibility through strategic marketing initiatives, social media engagement, and public relations efforts.
Team Leadership
- Lead a high-performing team dedicated to fulfilling Valeo's mission.
- Foster a positive organizational culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
- Effectively engage both the local and remote teammates, promoting cohesion and support within and across the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in senior management roles within non-profit organizations, with a strong emphasis on fundraising.
- Proven track record of successfully securing funding from diverse sources.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with various audiences.
- Sound understanding of financial management principles and experience managing budgets.
- Ability to build relationships with donors, community and ministry partners, and stakeholders.
Expected Skills, Qualifications, and Spiritual Posture
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in telehealth services or mental health advocacy is a plus.
- Aligns with Valeo's statement of faith, mission, vision, and core values.
- Seasoned and grounded spiritual life; member in good standing at a local church.
