About the Executive Worship Pastor

Being an Executive Worship Pastor is more than a job—it's a calling. We're looking for a high-capacity worship leader with a deep love for Jesus, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for creating environments where the Holy Spirit can move powerfully.

Your mission: Lead and develop worship, arts, and production across multiple locations, crafting an atmosphere that prepares hearts for the Word and opens the door for salvation, healing, and transformation.

Job Description

The Executive Worship Pastor's responsibilities include:

• Oversee all aspects of Sunday worship experiences across multiple locations.
• Recruit, train, and deploy a large team of volunteers or leaders annually. (30-40 dream teamers would be a good amount)
• Develop and mentor location worship leaders, musicians, and tech teams (under the Tech Director)
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Pastor, Location Pastors, and Creative Arts teams.
• Provide creative and technical direction for production elements.
• Build a "farm team" of emerging worship talent.
• Continually innovate for relevance and impact.

What you bring

The following describes many of the characteristics of the ideal candidate for the Executive Worship Pastor:

Education and Experience

• 3+ years of worship/music leadership in a church context (multi-site experience is a plus).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong vocal and instrumental ability.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills.
• Spiritual and emotional maturity aligned with Fusion Church's vision and teaching.

Personal Characteristics and Qualifications

• Preferably a GALVANIZER on the Working Genius
• Familiarity with Planning Center, Basecamp, Google Suite, Multitracks Playback, Ableton, and industry best practices for worship ministry.
