Family Minister/Pastor – part time or full time

South Harriman Baptist Church (SHBC) in Harriman, TN is seeking a part-time or full-time Family Minister/Pastor. The Family Minister will beresponsible for the evangelism, discipleship, development, and oversight ofministry to children, youth, and their families. Expectations for the FamilyMinister include teaching youth, overseeing youth volunteers, planningspecial events for youth and families, being involved in local schools,overseeing children's volunteers and ministry, and helping to manage thechurch's social media. The Family Minister would also assist the pastor inother ministries and outreach of the church and have opportunities topreach and be involved in corporate worship services. This individual mustagree with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and be able to teach withbiblically sound and Christ-centered doctrine. The individual shouldpossess a mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and exhibit alifestyle above reproach. The individual should have proven communicationand organizational skills and approach ministry with a team mentality.SHBC is a friendly, loving Southern Baptist church with opportunities forgrowth.
