Family Pastor

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Pastor to lead and nurture our children and student ministries, while also providing pastoral care to families within our congregation. This full-time role is pivotal in guiding the next generation and supporting parents as they disciple their children. As Family Pastor, you won't just run programs, you'll shape a generation by helping kids, students, and parents step into their God-given identity. You'll create a culture of belonging and equip parents to disciple their children, while serving on a church staff that is both deeply authentic and fully committed to partnering with Jesus for the purpose of transforming the lives of men, women and children in our community.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for children (birth through 5th grade) and students (6th through 12th grade) ministries that aligns with our church's mission and values.
  • Create engaging programs that foster spiritual growth, community, and service among young people.
  • Provide pastoral support to children, students, and their families, including counseling, mentorship, and crisis intervention.
  • Equip parents with resources and training to effectively disciple their children at home.
  • Recruit, train, and empower a team of volunteers to serve in various capacities within the family ministries.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement among volunteer teams.
  • Build relationships with local schools and organizations to extend our outreach and impact in the community.
  • Organize events and initiatives that connect families within the church and attract new families from the community.
