Job Overview

JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible to provide a high level of oversight and direction of financial systems by:

• Maintaining giving platforms on the company's website
• Maintaining and improving Salesforce's financial processes and reporting
• Process international wire transfers
• Train new and existing Continental Finance Assistants (CFAs)
• Serve as Latin America's CFA

Job Description

GOALS This job exists to maintain accurate and efficient accounting practices and financial record-keeping and ensure program funding is provided to approved training programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure organized and appropriate files and financial record-keeping systems are maintained.
• Troubleshoot any issues with program funding requests and international wire transfers, in conjunction with CFAs, and ensure regional financial reporting systems are maintained.
• Serve as Latin America CFA by processing payroll, managing credit card reporting, processing expense reports, and distributing program funding requests.
• Resolve credit card issues for staff, along with other members of the Finance Team.
• Calculate and maintain retirement fund amounts for international staff, with Finance Manager.
• Create and distribute monthly reports of actual versus budgeted expenses to international staff.
• Serve as system specialist through maintenance and update of organization's giving platforms, integration with accounting systems, and other finance information/data systems.
• Work with IT Manager and US Systems Specialist on a yearly basis to create Salesforce Campaigns and Accounting Seed projects.
• Participate in bimonthly Finance Council meetings.
• Assist with other projects and tasks, as assigned by Finance Manager.
