Full-time Director of Worship Music: Crossroads Community Church (PCA)

Job Description:

Overview: Crossroads Community Church (PCA) is seeking a gifted musician to serve as our first Full-Time Director of Worship Music, helping us glorify God and disciple His people through music and song.

In this role, you will lead a congregation that treasures the richness and beauty of biblically faithful songs from the past and present. You will shape music that flows seamlessly with the liturgy, equip and mentor our volunteer team of talented and enthusiastic musicians and vocalists, and also oversee the technical aspects of worship – including sound, lighting, ProPresenter, and livestreaming.

Beyond Sunday worship, you will have additional opportunities to help cultivate a culture of worship that strengthens the church and reaches into the community. This includes hosting occasional music nights, as well as engaging with the broader local music community to explore opportunities for concerts and events that point people to Christ and serve as an outreach to our neighbors.

Position Qualifications:

Qualifications: We are looking for a committed follower of Jesus with a vibrant personal faith and a love for the local church. The ideal candidate will:

• Align with Reformed theology.
• Be (or be willing to become) a member of Crossroads.
• Have strong musical gifts as both a vocalist and instrumentalist (guitar, piano, etc.).
• Demonstrate skill in leading a congregation in singing and guiding a worship music team.
• Possess strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Show knowledge of both hymnody and contemporary worship music.
• Bring experience with sound, lighting, ProPresenter, and livestream technology.
• Hold a degree in music or have equivalent experience in worship music leadership.

Position Details:

• Full-time with compensation of $50,000 – $55,000 annually plus a health insurance stipend, based on experience and qualifications.
• Reports directly to the Executive Pastor and is accountable to the Session (Board of Elders)
