Are you passionate about guiding the next generation to grow in their faith? Do you have a heart for building relationships with students and their families? Highland Drive Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a dedicated Youth Minister to lead and disciple students in grades 7-12.

The city of Jonesboro is home to 80,000 residents and Arkansas State University with a student body of 15,000.

About The Role

As our Youth Minister, you will:

• Cultivate an atmosphere for students that encourages a passion for God's word and spiritual growth
• Build relationships with students, parents, and volunteers to foster discipleship
• Organize impactful youth programs, retreats, camps, and mission trips
• Lead youth gatherings, including Sunday small groups, Sunday night activities, and Wednesday night services
• Equip and train volunteers and parents to support youth discipleship
• Develop outreach strategies to engage students beyond the church walls
• Affirm the statement of faith of Highland Drive Baptist Church

What We're Looking For

• A clear call to vocational ministry and a growing relationship with Christ
• A strong ability to connect with students and their families
• A bachelor's degree (required) and experience in youth ministry (preferred)
• Leadership skills with a collaborative, strategic approach
• A heart for discipleship and outreach
