Grace Point Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as the GPStudents Team Lead. Our church is committed to creating a vibrant and engaging community for students in grades 7-12. The GPStudents Team Lead works alongside an existing Student Team to invest in the lives of students and their families. As a part of our greater Family Discipleship Team, the GPStudents Team Lead plays a pivotal role in facilitating environments where students can encounter Jesus in a real way and grow in discipleship with Him.

Grace Point Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as the GPStudents Team Lead. Our church is committed to creating a vibrant and engaging community for students in grades 7-12. The GPStudents Team Lead works alongside an existing Student Team to invest in the lives of students and their families. As a part of our greater Family Discipleship Team, the GPStudents Team Lead plays a pivotal role in facilitating environments where students can encounter Jesus in a real way and grow in discipleship with Him.

Responsibilities

• Ensure spiritual growth and development of students, grades 7th – 12th grade.
• Exercise creativity in designing new and innovative ways for students to learn about life in Christ and grow in the values of the Christian faith.
• Work with GPS team to create and lead programs that resonate with students.
• Train and recruit volunteers for efficient implementation of church programs.
• Develop and empower volunteers to lead out in student ministry.
• Identify and help execute innovative, yet biblically sound gathering times for students.
• Work with GPS team to develop and maintain strategic outreach efforts to students and parents in the community.
• Ensure regular follow-up to families with youth-aged children.
• Develop relationships with area junior high and senior high campuses in Northwest Arkansas.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in ministry, theology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in student ministry, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong spiritual maturity and a deep understanding of Scripture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and build meaningful relationships
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and motivate volunteers
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• A passion for student ministry and a commitment to helping students grow in their faith
