Position Summary

The High School Ministry Director oversees the High School Ministry. This position is responsible for leading the High School Ministry through the mentoring and discipleship of students, logistical planning for events, and providing financial oversight for the ministry's budget.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversight of all High School Ministry events
• Partnering with parents to help their students grow in Christlikeness
• Providing regular teaching in the HSM class and other large-group events
• Coordinating discipleship groups for the HSM
• Identifying and training volunteers for the HSM
• Planning various ministry events, mission trips, and retreats
• Manage expenses within the approved annual budget

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (required)
• 2-4 years of ministry experience
• Affirm East Cooper Baptist Church's Statement of Faith and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent
• A member of East Cooper Baptist Church (or willing and able to join)
• Display a passionate love for the Lord and a desire to serve in student ministry
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Numerous projects/tasks are completed in a timely manner without assistance
• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, and Sheets)
