Ministry Objective The High School Pastor @ First Ridgeland is the champion of discipleship among high school students in Central Mississippi. By engaging the HIGHPOINT, LIFEGroup, D-Group and LIFEServe models, the High School Pastor will bridge discipleship with missional impact throughout the many communities we serve. The High School Pastor is committed with passion to the vision of First Ridgeland and to the call of Christ to lead others. Responsibilities responsible to the Young Adult Pastor serves as a member of the church staff team and attends all staff meetings coordinates and evaluates the effectiveness of all high school ministry operations at First Ridgeland develops strong relationships with key leaders (intern and volunteer) for influential effectiveness and development develops training projects and efforts to equip a capable and willing leadership base in ministry and missions including personal spiritual guidance, study, techniques of teaching, and innovations in ministry initiates a strategy to bridge high school students into a lifestyle of discipleship using the LIFEGroup model develops a strategy to maximize involvement among high school students in the DGroup model teaches at designated high school Bible studies and services and equips others with the skills necessary to succeed in similar opportunities develops and plans major high school outreach events and campaigns committed to and involved in the local high school systems provides strategic direction in both planning and oversight of ELEVATE ministry Terms & Agreements the above position is classified as regular full-time the salary is negotiated to be paid bi-weekly and is commensurate with experience the salary and tenure will be reviewed annually mileage is reimbursed monthly per submission of appropriately documented forms ministry event/travel related expenses pertinent to the normal conduct of church ministry and business are reimbursed regularly per submission of appropriately documented forms
