General Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Sr. Pastor, and in coordination with the Ministry Staff, the Hispanic Congregation Minister will: Provide vision, leadership and oversight of the Hispanic Ministry at First Baptist Church Fisherville (La Iglesia Bautista Fisherville). Lead the coordination of all aspects of our Hispanic Ministry, including Spanish-speaking Sunday School classes & worship service, as well as any future programs and ministries for that portion of our congregation. Coordinate with the Hispanic Ministry Worship Leader in the planning of weekly worship services. Preach in weekly services. Attend to the pastoral care needs of the Spanish-speaking members of our congregation. Seek opportunities for our Hispanic Ministry members to be involved with other ministries of FBC Fisherville, including but not limited to our missions, student, children's, & recreation ministries. Ensure that FBCF is communicating effectively with the Spanish-speaking individuals in our congregation and involving them in the ongoing life of the church. Lead outreach efforts to grow the Hispanic ministry. Identify, recruit, and train volunteers to help execute the ministry's vision. Attend weekly staff meeting with ministry staff. Be responsible for management of the Hispanic Ministry budget. This is a part-time ministerial position with an expectation of 10-12 hours per week plus attendance and involvement in regular services.
