NMBCH is seeking dedicated married couples to fill the vital role of Houseparents on their campuses in Portales, NM, and the campus opening soon in Estancia, NM.

Role of Houseparents:

Houseparents play a crucial role in nurturing and caring for children who have experienced trauma. This role requires individuals who are deeply committed to their Christian faith, enjoy an active lifestyle, and are ready to face the challenges and rewards of working with children from difficult backgrounds.

Requirements:

– Strong calling to work with hurting children.

– Active involvement in a Southern Baptist Church.

– Married couples with up to 2 dependent children (preferably over age 10).

– Willingness to accommodate one well-behaved pet (case-by-case basis).

Responsibilities include:

– Living in and caring for a large home on the NMBCH campus.

– Parenting up to 9 resident children.

– Working a schedule of 16 days on, 8 days off.

Compensation and Benefits:

– Salary: $65,000 per couple.

– Housing and utilities (including internet) provided.

– 100% paid health, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance premiums for employees and dependents.

– Employer contributions to a 403b retirement plan, with additional matching options after a waiting period.
