Full-Time (40 hours a week)
DIRECT REPORT:
This position reports to the Executive Pastor.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A consistent, contagious, and fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ, exhibited by the fruit of the Spirit, which is "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" (Gal 5:22-23). Character qualities reflected in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
- A track record of serving in ministry, loyalty to pastoral leadership, and a desire to equip the saints in ministry.
- Free from addictions and life-dominating sins; willing to limit one's liberty for the sake of others, living above reproach.
- Demonstrated competence in doing the work of ministry. The candidate should be able to demonstrate gifting and ability as necessary for ministry leadership.
- A commitment to the Church's mission, values, statement of faith, and philosophy of ministry.
- If married, a spouse who enthusiastically supports the candidate's participation and leadership in the church.
- Enthusiastic references who confirm the candidate's potential for ministry.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in HR or similar field.
- Knowledge of human resources related laws, regulations, and legislation; implementing changes as necessary or required.
- High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information.
- Skills and gifts in administration and organization.
- Proficient in administrative systems and platforms (e.g. Google Drive, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, etc.).
- A keen interest in working as a team and the ability to function independent of micromanagement.
Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all functions of Human Resources in order to serve and support church and school employees.
- Oversee and manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for the church and school.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices.
- Coordinate insurance, retirement, and benefit enrollment, changes, and administration with our accountant and vendors.
- Oversee annual employee review process including employee reviews, self evaluations and 360 evaluations.
- Develop and manage personnel policies and procedures.

- Immediately inform the supervisor of any areas of concern or conflict
- Treat the members and leadership with respect at all times
Failure to accomplish the above expectations may result in immediate termination of the position.
