In this role, one will steward our campus technology environment—managing infrastructure, security, and vendor relationships—while partnering with ministry and operations leaders to deliver reliable, innovative solutions that empower staff, enhance guest experiences, and support our programs. This multifaceted position demands a servant‑leader with deep IT acumen, strong project and budget management skills, and a heart for ministry.

Job Description
- Title: IT Manager
- Department: Technology Solutions
- Reports To: Director of Technology Solutions
Purpose:
The IT Manager will fulfill our mission of inspiring Christ‑like change by leading the planning, implementation, and support of all technology systems. One will ensure our infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with ministry objectives, while supporting and empowering staff.
Overall Responsibilities and Expectations
- Develop and execute a multi‑year IT strategy and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of networks, servers, storage, and end‑user computing
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices: vulnerability management, patching, access controls, and disaster recovery
- Manage IT budget, vendor contracts, and hardware/software lifecycle planning
- Drive project management for major initiatives (e.g., system migrations, campus‑wide upgrades, new software rollouts)
- Partner with ministry and operations leaders to identify technology needs, propose solutions, and deliver training
- Maintain and update IT policies, procedures, and documentation
- Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement processes
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex IT incidents and change requests
Character, Education, Abilities, Skills, Experience
- Personal and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ

- Proven experience (5+ years) in technology infrastructure management
- Strong background in network and systems administration (LAN/WAN/WLAN, cloud, virtualization)
- Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity frameworks and disaster recovery planning
- Proficiency with platforms such as:
- Cisco Meraki or Ubiquiti networking
- Microsoft 365 & Azure
- Google Workspace
- Windows Server, Linux, macOS
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to bridge technical and non‑technical audiences
- Project management skills (PMP or similar certification a plus)
- Relevant certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, Network+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Professional, Cisco CCNA, etc.
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus
Work Context:
This role is primarily on‑site at our Glorieta, NM campus, requiring hands‑on support across buildings.
Travel:
Infrequent travel for conferences, training, or vendor meetings.
Work Environment:
Office‑based with routine visits to server rooms, network closets, and program areas. Flexibility to assist during peak camp seasons.
Training:
Ongoing coaching, professional development opportunities, and access to relevant certifications will be provided.
