Job Description

Core Competencies:

• Proficiency in one or more of the following key IT areas:
  • Data Center Management (Virtualization, Storage, Domain, Server Administration)
  • Collaboration (Email, O365, Video Conferencing, Telephony)
  • Networking (WAN, Remote Access, LAN, Wireless, ISP)
  • User Support (Helpdesk, Onboarding/Offboarding, Printers, Software, Endpoint management)
  • Procurement and Compliance
• Skill in performing root cause analysis to identify problems and solutions
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Able to manage multiple priorities
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Support TWR’s IT strategy to align with TWR’s vision and goals as determined by the Director of IT.
• Participate in operations and projects at the on-premise data center, wide area network, cloud tools, and virtualized server platforms so that TWR’s IT infrastructure is optimized, stable, patched and running on current technologies.
• Collaborate with Global IT staff in area(s) of expertise to design, provision, and support TWR IT infrastructure.
• Serve on rotating schedule to resolve end-user IT helpdesk issues.

Desirable Qualifications: 

• Proficient in understanding of general IT concepts such as networking, collaboration, virtualization, security principles, directory services, cloud, compliance, etc.
• Proficient with network and Internet protocols TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, etc.
• Proficient in layered network security implementation and monitoring
• Familiar with virtualization technologies
• Experience in troubleshooting end user computer issues
• Familiar with storage technologies
• Familiar managing and programming network equipment
• Experience using Docker
