POSITION SUMMARY To coordinate and assist the junior high director in leading the Junior High ministry (Raiders). This includes planning and implementing ministry events as well as relationship building.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Knowledge – College graduate; knowledge of ministry to junior high school students; knowledge of youth ministry and principles through reading, experience, or training needed to develop a strategic ministry. Skills– analytical, communications, managerial, interpersonal, leadership, motivation, counseling, technical, administrative, and ministry skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Implements a complete ministry to Junior High Girls. This includes planning, programming, personnel training of volunteer leaders, discipling, recruiting, outreach, etc. Performs and delegates administrative duties as assigned by the Junior High Director to ensure such duties are handled in an effective and efficient manner. 2. Personally disciples and establishes rapport with Junior high school students and their respective parents, mainly junior high girls. 3. Assist Junior High Director in developing and leading Junior High Sunday School – including curriculum decisions/development, recruiting teachers, and teaching the girls when needed. 4. Assists in planning and coordinating annual retreats, summer programs, and mission trips. 5. Meets regularly with the Junior High Director to discuss upcoming plans and evaluate direction and effectiveness of the ministry.
