Job Description

Summary Job Description

The Redeemer Kids Coordinator is responsible for preparing for and coordinating all Redeemer Kids functions.

Responsibilities:

Administration – 25%

1. Manage Redeemer Kids staff members (e.g., team assistants)

2. Schedule (at least one month out) and manage volunteers for Sundays and Wednesdays for the older kids' classrooms

3. Set up Kids Hall for Redeemer Kids gatherings

– This includes tracking and ordering supplies in a timely fashion

– Maintain accurate classroom rosters

Ministry Leadership – 50%

4. Keep the Kids Hall running smoothly for Redeemer Kids gatherings

5. Train and Equip volunteers to fully utilize the classroom curriculum

6. Train and Equip volunteers in proper classroom management

7. Be present for all Redeemer Kids gatherings

8. Recruit, onboard, and train new volunteers

9. Oversee Kids Camp and Christmas Eve programming for Kids

10. Partner with parents in providing resources for on-going discipleship of their children

Ministry Safety – 15%

11. Oversee child safety trainings

12. Ensure all background checks are complete and up to date

Ministry Collaboration – 10%

13. Work with other staff members to organize seasonal events (e.g., Christmas Eve, a summer event...etc.)

14. Oversee childcare for Redeemer events

15. Other duties as assigned
