Job Description
The Christ Kids Director provides leadership and oversight for all children's ministry programming (birth-5th grade). This role ensure a safe, engaging, and gospel-centered environment where children grow in their understanding of God's Word an are encouraged to know, love, and follow Jesus.
The Director recruits, trains, schedules, and disciples volunteers; prepares weekly curriculum and classroom materials; and maintains clear communication with parents and ministry teams. Responsibilities include overseeing Awanas Club during Midweek, managing attendance and scheduling through Planning Center, enforcing child protection policies, and coordinating key events such as VBS, Christmas Choir, and family gatherings.
This leader works closely with the Lead Pastor and church staff to advance the overall mission of the church, while continuing to grow personally through conferences and training in children's and family discipleship. A strong candidate will demonstrate spiritual maturity, organizational strength, relational warmth, and the ability to lead multiple priorities with excellence.
