Job Description

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience of full-time ministry experience or volunteering at Parkway Fellowship. Preference will be given to those with experience in a large (1,000+), multi-site church
• A demonstrated, growing, and personal relationship with Jesus and a working knowledge of God's Word
• Must exercise the characteristic of humility and a "whatever it takes" work ethic

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and empower volunteer ministry teams for all Sunday services in Elementary
• Maintain a clear and concise system in training volunteers
• Develop, recruit, train, and lead a coaching structure for weekend services for all Elementary Kids programming
• Create and maintain an evaluation system for evaluating the health of the entire Elementary Kids Ministry
• Maintain the vision of partnering with parents through the implementation of all major milestones
• Purchase and prep all needed supplies for weekly lessons for Kindergarten – 5th grade classes
• Effectively lead and recruit leaders for specials events
• Constantly evaluate current security system, in order to make sure it provides the most security to our kids and user friendliness to our parents
• Edit Curriculum and do all supply preparation and distribution for each series
• Provide support for our other locations and their Elementary programs
• Handle all administrative responsibilities of the Elementary Kids Ministry such as but not limited to all record sheets from small groups, reporting attendance from all Sunday activities, returning phone calls and emails in a timely manner
• Be actively involved with Kids Small Groups on Tuesday and/or Wednesday nights
• Perform any other duties as required by the Senior Staff of Parkway Fellowship
