Purpose

The Kids Ministry Director is the primary leader of our gospel-centered kids (Birth – 5th grade) ministry. He or she will serve to develop, equip, and multiply disciple-making parents and leaders, while also creating a vibrant environment for children to experience sound biblical teaching.  This will be accomplished in three major areas: (1) recruiting and discipling volunteer leaders, (2) spiritual formation of kids (Birth – 5th grade), and (3) equipping parents as disciple-makers.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has strong character that is evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit. Someone who is faithful, honest, humble, even-tempered, self-controlled, and above reproach.
  • Loves God’s Word and is committed to sound biblical teaching no matter what age is being taught.
  • Affirms and embraces the mission, vision, values, and doctrine of Firewheel Bible Fellowship.
  • Has strong leadership skills – both strategic and day-to-day.
