God is growing our kid's ministry at Southside, and we are excited for the next leader God has for us! The role of the Kids Director is to provide leadership for kids (1st-5th grade) and parents under the overall church-wide mission of Love, Grow, and Go. This position is responsible to develop, promote, and implement a comprehensive program of spiritual growth, Christian education, and activities for kids. Southside is a revitalized church that is steadily growing and reaching people. With nearly 300,000 people surrounding us, Southside is located in the heart of Savannah. Our heartbeat is for people to know the gospel and be transformed. Our mission is clear and simple: LOVE God with everything – GROW in our faith – GO with the gospel. We are a multi-generational church that values all ages and all ethnic backgrounds because we are all image-bearers of God. Our worship is contemporary but within a multi-generational context. We pray hard, work hard, and love one another authentically. We are kingdom-focused, excellence-driven, and joyfully serving in pursuing our mission. Our church is in the heart of coastal Georgia and has much of the historic charm of downtown Savannah. We are ten minutes from the historic downtown, twenty minutes from beautiful Tybee Beach, one hour from Hilton Head, SC, and less than two hours from the beautiful beaches in Florida.
