The Venture Kids Ministry Director leads and oversees the spiritual growth and development of children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Our new Director will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children can encounter God’s love, grow in their faith, and build strong foundations for their spiritual journey.

Job Description

Spiritual Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensive vision for Kids Ministry that aligns with the overall mission and values of the church. Provide leadership, spiritual guidance, and mentorship to volunteers, parents, and children, fostering a culture of faith and discipleship.

Program Development Design and execute an age-appropriate, creative, and engaging curriculum for Sunday services, midweek gatherings, and special events that cater to the developmental needs of children. Coordinate and oversee the logistics of all Kids Ministry activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children. Develop innovative ways to reach children and young families. Work with volunteers by building teams, promoting teamwork, and empowering leaders. Share a passion for family-based kids ministry that involves equipping parents to raise their kids to live on a mission for Jesus.

Volunteer Recruitment and Training Recruit, equip, and train a team of dedicated volunteers to effectively lead and assist in various aspects of the Kids Ministry, including teaching, worship, administration, and safety protocols. Foster a sense of community among volunteers, encouraging collaboration and growth.
