Job Description

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience of full-time ministry experience or volunteering at Parkway Fellowship. Preference will be given to those with experience in a large (1,000+), multi-site church
• A demonstrated, growing, and personal relationship with Jesus and a working knowledge of God's Word
• Must exercise the characteristic of humility and a "whatever it takes" work ethic

Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the Kids Ministry volunteer team through Godly servant leadership Directly oversee all systems within Kids Ministry at the Morton Location, especially the Worship Service, Assimilation, New Believer, Kids Small Group systems.
• Recruit, train, and empower volunteer ministry teams for all Sunday services and Kids Small Groups
• Develop, recruit, train, and lead a coaching structure for weekend services for all Kids programming
• Purchase and prep all needed supplies for weekly lessons for Birth – 5 th grade classes
• Oversee all financial procedures pertaining to the Morton Kids Ministry
• Edit, distribute, and/or create any curriculum for Kids Ministry pertaining to Morton
• Oversee the setting of specific & measurable goals for the Morton Kids Ministry through the tracking of all numbers & data
• Regularly cast vision for a Sunday morning experience for kids of all ages that strives to fulfill the mission & vision of Parkway Fellowship through effectively media, curriculum, and technology
• Oversee all additional Kids Ministry events such as VBS, Pine Cove City, Last Bash, Big Kid Breakfast, and others at the Morton Location
• Responsible for all weekly lessons and preparation that must take place before Wednesday night Kids Small Groups
• Responsible for providing support and continued training to Kids Small Group Leaders throughout the semester
