Job Description

The Lead Pastor's responsibilities include:

Preaching & Teaching

• Serve as the primary preacher and lead Sunday services and other church-wide gatherings.
• Develop and oversee a preaching schedule.
• Ensure biblical integrity in all teaching ministries.
• Supervise church educational offerings, including classes and Bible studies.
• Lead the congregation in service, discipleship, worship, and prayer

Leadership & Vision

• Cast vision and build unity around the church's mission.
• Develop a culture of teamwork, accountability, and spiritual growth.
• Oversee and mentor pastors and staff.
• Lead in spiritual and organizational matters.
• Serve as head of the pastoral team; lead regular staff meetings and trainings.
• Oversee church personnel, policies, and strategic planning.
• Guide the responsible use of ministry budgets and resources.

Pastoral Care

• Offer pastoral care through counseling, visitation, and prayer.
• Officiate weddings and funerals as needed.
• Oversee member care in collaboration with elders and deacons.
• Support doctrinal integrity across ministries.
