DoXa Church is a church plant with a community of about 30 members and has been established for just over two years. We are a group of believers committed to living for the glory of God's Kingdom and making disciples of all nations. We are currently seeking a lead pastor/church planter who is passionate about expository preaching and willing to serve closely alongside our two lay elders. Job Description

The lead church planting pastor is to lead and work closely with the office of Elders.

He is responsible to the Lord and the church to primarily proclaim the Gospel and teach the Bible (preaching, teaching, discipleship, ministry development, visionary leadership, congregational care, and administrative oversight).

He must lead the Office of Elders to engage in pastoral care, provide supervisory leadership in all areas.

He has to apply to be a church planter with NAMB.

• Get assessment by NAMB.
• If approved, attend all training sessions provided and required by NAMB.

Launch DoXa as a Church Plant.

Ministry Requirements and Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct worship services; prepare and deliver sermons and lead in observance of the church ordinances.

Maintain relationships with our financial support sponsors.

Lead the church with the team of Elders

• In an effective evangelism program and in a caring ministry for those in the church and community.
• In an effective program of visiting members and prospects.
• Conduct counseling sessions.
• Perform wedding ceremonies and conduct funerals.
• In planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating the total program of the congregation.
• Work and supervise the lay workers as they perform their assigned responsibilities.
• Develop ministries as needed.
• The overall direction of the church.

Qualifications:

• Alignment with Reformed theology.
• Agreement with the DoXa Statement of Faith
• A Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies from a recognized theological institution, A Master of Divinity preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of pastoral experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to cast vision and mobilize volunteers.
• A personal testimony that reflects a deep understanding and experience of the gospel.
