Faith Bible Church of Little Genesee, NY is a small rural church that has been in existence for over 50 years. As an independent/non-denominational church, Faith Bible strives to teach and preach the Word God, and only the Word of God, taking nothing away, nor adding anything to it.

Faith Bible has a rich history of a traditional background, which adhered to a well-structured and orderly worship service centered around traditional hymns, and both topical and expository preaching, but with emphasis on exposition. Today, Faith Bible maintains an orderly worship service, utilizing an equal blend of both traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs, led by an exceptional team of vocal, percussion, string, and keyboard musicians.

Being an elder-lead church, the board of elders have been preaching during Sunday worship services and leading Bible studies during the Sunday school hour in the absence of a lead pastor.

With a faithful membership and attendance of 60-70 partitioners from many different rural communities within a 15-mile radius, Faith Bible has the opportunity to spread and share God's word to these various communities through its faithful members. Many of these communities are in dire need of God's truth and saving grace.

Faith Bible is looking for a lead pastor that will focus on an expository preaching style and is able to teach and lead in-depth bible studies as well. The candidate should be task-oriented, but balanced with the ability to be people-oriented and relational as well. Having some previous pastoral experience is desired, but not required. The candidate should have formal training and education, with at least a bachelor's degree desired.

Job Description

• Preach during the Sunday morning service
• Lead the observance of Communion on a monthly or bi-monthly basis
• Assist the Elders in teaching
• Lead a Wednesday evening Bible study/prayer time
• Assist in community outreach
• Provide counselling to his ability
• On-site housing can be provided but is not required.
