First Baptist Church of Belzoni is prayerfully seeking a lead pastor after the sudden retirement of our pastor of 24 years. We have an average Sunday worship attendance of 70 and are looking to grow in spirit and in number. Belzoni, "The Heart of the Delta," is home to the World Catfish Festival held every April. It is a small town with a big heart. The surrounding area is ripe with farming, hunting, fishing, even golf. We are seeking an ordained minister, who possesses the qualities outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, to preach the Word of God and meet the spiritual needs of our congregation. Our services are Sunday morning, night, Wednesday night prayer meeting for the adults, and choir/Bible study for the children. Base pay is $45,000 – $55,000 based on experience plus benefits.
