The pastor will be a servant-leader of a multi-cultural, multi-generational, Elder-led, evangelical and mission minded church of 400 members, preaching and teaching God's Word while providing exceptional pastoral care to the congregation and the community. He will guide the church in pursuing our mission of "Reaching the Lost of our World with the Love of Jesus Christ to the Glory of God." His major responsibilities will include: (1) Leading the church in proclaiming the gospel to the church and the community; (2) Being the spiritual leader of the congregation; (3) Working with the Elders, Deacons, Staff, and other church leaders, in planning, coordinating, and delivering our programs and worship services; (4) Supervising the day-to-day church operations and employees. Minimum Qualifications: (1) Bachelor's degree in a ministry related field; Seminary education preferred; (2) Three or more years of pastoral ministry experience, including some time as a Lead Pastor; (3) Meet the requirements of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9; (4) Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 amended 2003.
