We are seeking a lead pastor who will shepherd with compassion, preach the Word with conviction, and encourage our people to live out their faith in their daily lives. The Lead Pastor of Holy Cross will be the primary preacher and serve as the chief shepherd and visionary leader for the church. He will help heal the congregation, develop and disciple leaders, guide the church's spiritual and organizational growth, and foster outreach both locally and globally. The role includes pastoral counseling, conflict resolution, and equipping members to integrate their faith into everyday life, all while building sustainable structures to support future ministry

Job Description

Holy Cross Presbyterian Church is seeking a biblically grounded, emotionally mature Lead Pastor to guide our congregation with humility, conviction, and compassion. Located in Marana, a vibrant suburb of Tucson, our church is a resilient community committed to gospel-centered living, worship, and discipleship.

The Lead Pastor will serve as the primary preacher (45–47 Sundays/year), provide pastoral care and counseling, and guide the church through a season of healing and growth. Key responsibilities include developing leaders, strengthening Life Groups, rebuilding church structures, and helping us grow. Candidates must be ordained or ordainable in the PCA and demonstrate spiritual maturity, integrity, and the ability to lead a multigenerational church with a strong base of young families.
