Job Overview

The Lead Pastor at NEC is responsible for providing spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and administrative oversight to the congregation. He will preach, teach, counsel, and lead the church in fulfilling its mission to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serve the community.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Preaching and Teaching: Prepare and deliver biblically based sermons for Sunday services and other special occasions.
• Pastoral Care: Provide pastoral care and counseling to individuals and families within the congregation, including hospital visits, home visits, and crisis intervention.
• Leadership and Administration: Work collaboratively with the Leadership Team to develop and implement the church's vision, goals, and strategies.
• Outreach and Community Engagement: Lead and participate in outreach activities to engage the local community and attract new members to the church. Represent the church in local community events, interfaith activities, and denominational meetings.
