Lead Pastor
Job Overview
The Lead Pastor at NCFF serves as the primary spiritual and organizational leader, guiding the church's vision, teaching, and overall ministry. This role includes delivering biblically sound and practical teaching, providing strategic leadership for ministry staff and elders, and fostering spiritual growth and discipleship within the congregation. The Lead Pastor also oversees outreach efforts, including local, regional, and global missions, and represents NCFF in the community.
Job Description
Main Categories of Responsibility:
- Teach God's Word to NCFF in an effective and well communicated manner that is Biblically true, easily understood and fully applicational to following Christ daily.
- Provide overall ministry vision and direction.
- Provide leadership, oversight and direction of ministry staff on a daily basis.
- Help the Board of Elders effectively lead NCFF to follow Jesus by providing personal example, wise guidance & Biblical counsel. These qualities will be the fruit of a consistently faithful walk with Jesus, professional educational training and a proven track record of successful leadership ministry experience.
- Work with NCFF's volunteer Missions Director to provide oversight of the local, regional and global mission ministries of NCFF.
- Represent NCFF to the community in any official capacity needed.
- Utilize the assistance of the Church Administrator and Executive Pastor in accomplishing these and other ministry responsibilities.
